Informed by years living in Japan and a deep respect for how Japanese architecture treats space and material with equal care, doing more with less and choosing every element deliberately, our spatial planning is precise, purposeful, and scaled to how you actually live.

In Southern California, the boundary between inside and outside is a design opportunity most renovations ignore. We treat the transition zones - thresholds, terraces, garden edges - as a core part of the project, not an afterthought. When a project's scope extends into the yard, we manage that side directly too, coordinating landscape architects and contractors alongside the work on the house, so everything moves on the same timeline and toward the same vision.
